On September 25-27
CULines held its Interim Work Conference 2020
& Marketing Meeting
Coinciding with the 15th birthday of CULines, the conference was themed “Chasing the Wind, Overtaking on Curves, and Winning the Future.” The core operation and management teams from our Shanghai Operational Headquarters and branches in Mainland China travelled to Shanghai and Hangzhou to attend the conference and participate in team building and learning activities. The heads of the overseas branches in Vietnam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other locations joined in the meeting online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the conference, participants were engaged in online and offline brainstorming, and heated discussions. They shared their wise insights into marketing and extensively communicated about product mixes, network layout, marketing capabilities strengthening, marketing systems building, digital marketing, logistics promotion and other topics. A consensus was reached on the scene, which was about how to strengthen marketing capabilities, enhance customer experience and promote high-quality and leapfrog development by digital means in this digital age.
After the conference, we visited Alibaba and DingTalk in Hangzhou, a city imprinted with Internet genes. There we learned about the start-up history of the Internet giant, as well as its management culture and customer-oriented principle, and experienced the latest digital solutions.
We also invited Mr. Ling Jun, Alibaba’s first-generation political commissar and senior expert in human resources and management, to share with us Ali’s corporate culture, DingTalk’s development history, and topics such as digital innovation. The inspiring presentation ignited our passion and increased our confidence in winning the future.
Discussion and study late at night
Besides this fruitful study trip, we also travelled to Alibaba’s neighbor, Xixi Wetland, for team building. Humorous marketing slogans contrasted finely with the wonderful scenery and film shooting scenes in Xixi, and also echoed the theme of the conference.
The 15-year-old CULines is like a teenager chasing the wind!
We are confident in overtaking on curves!
We are ambitious to win the future!
That makes each of us a teenager as well,
passionate and devoted,
to our dreams, and to our sea of stars!
What a delightful thing it is,
to do something meaningful,
with a group of loving and responsible friends!
