CULINES VISITED PORT AUTHORITY OF THAILAND AND THAI-CHINESE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

On 10 and 11 June 2022, Chairman & CEO of CULINES Mr. Raymond Chen with his team visited Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) and Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (TCCC).

During the meeting with PAT Director General Mr. Kriengkai Chaisiriwongsuk, Mr. Chen introduced Thailand services and development plan in Thailand of CULINES. Mr. Kriengkai Chaisiriwongsuk briefed on Thai ports and key plannings. Both parties agreed to strengthen the close relationship, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation.

TCCC, with a history of 112 years, is the most influential Chinese chamber of commerce in Thailand. Its influence is not only in Thailand, but also Southeast Asia and even the world in large. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, TCCC has been playing a positive role in promoting exchanges and cooperation in politics, culture, and economy. Chairman Mr. Narongsak Putthapornmongkol and Vice Chairman Mr. Boonyong Yongcharoenrat of TCCC welcomed the CULINES team. Mr. Narongsak Putthapornmongkol expressed that the TCCC board of directors includes many corporate members covering various areas. TCCC, with more than 60 members from different trade unions, has been a very important bridge for cooperation and communication between Chinese and Thai companies. With the official entry into force of RCEP, both sides would join hands to grasp the opportunities of this era and make the most of their advantages for the development of economy, trade, and culture in Thailand and China. Mr. Raymond Chen said that CULINES is striving to become a digital logistics company based on liner services. In the future, both parties could deepen cooperation in valued-added logistics services in Thailand for win-win results and for CULINES business development as well.
