CULines Supports Maritime Talent Development and Advances Its ESG Commitments

2025-11-25

On the morning of 23 November, Dalian Maritime University held the 2024–2025 “Haida · Yin Xin” Outstanding Students Award Ceremony. As an alumni enterprise, CULines was invited to attend the event, witnessing this proud moment of excellence achieved by the university’s outstanding students.

At the award ceremony, Mr. Xu Minqiang, Secretary of the CPC Committee of Dalian Maritime University, presented commemorative plaques to organizations and individuals who have established new scholarships and grants for 2025. President Shan Hongjun delivered a speech titled “Embrace Diversity, Pursue Knowledge and Practice, and Become a New Generation Capable of Contributing to National Development.”

CULines has supported its alma mater for many consecutive years and has newly established the “CULines Scholarship” this year. Mr. Vincent Hu, Deputy General Manager of CULines China Region, attended the event on behalf of the company, received the commemorative plaque together with other supporting organizations and individuals, and presented the award certificate to the student representative receiving the CULines Scholarship.

Recently, CULines also participated in sponsoring the “Maritime Law Talent Development Program,” an initiative led by the Hong Kong Liner Shipping Association in collaboration with the University of Hong Kong and five leading mainland universities — Peking University, Shandong University, Xiamen University, Dalian Maritime University, and Shanghai Maritime University. During the Association’s first-anniversary celebration, Chairman Mr. Raymond Chen was invited to attend and take part in the launch ceremony of the program.

CULines’ enduring support for its alma mater and its commitment to nurturing future maritime talent reflects the company’s belief in “building a good business and giving back to society.” It is a genuine, hands-on demonstration of the company’s ESG values in action.
